After practicing law at a plaintiff-side employment law firm for several years, Leiann felt that her practice was missing a focus on preventative action and education. In 2009, Leiann founded Fusion Legal on the principle that employers and employees should be working together, not against each other, so that business owners can spend time growing their business, not defending it. This was a call back to her corporate Human Resources years where she worked with HR leaders.

They worked with their employees towards resolution, compliance and helping each other achieve their goals. Little did she know that her prior experience in the plaintiffs’ world would also help her to educate clients about their risks and advise as to when settling or pushing forward in a lawsuit is the best path. As Fusion Legal has grown, Leiann has learned so much from her clients and they have inspired her with their innovation, growth and creativity.
